members are always welcome at our club.
We are a Victorian
Golf League affiliated sporting club at Melbourne's most inner city public golf
course, with Sunday morning 18 and 9 hole competitions. Men, women and juniors are all welcome.

Please note:
All non-club related golf course enquiries about golf lessons, green
fees or booking tee times should be directed to the staff at the Royal Park Golf Course on (03)
9387 3585. Please do not email our Club with these enquiries as we are not involved with the running or management of the course.
Please note: Royal Park Golf Course is a public course, and our Club members must pay green fees.
FEES:
ADULTS
An
Adult who is admitted to the Club between 1st
October and 31st
September
in any year must pay the Joining Fee of $20,
and the Annual Subscription (1st
October to 30th
September) of $100
(i.e.
$20 + $100 = $120).
An
Adult who is admitted to the Club between 1st
January and 30th
September
in any year pays the Joining Fee of $20,
plus a pro-rata yearly Subscription of $10
per month
through to the end of September. (If joining in May you would pay $10
x 5 months = $50 + $20 joining fee = $70).
He or she is then financial until the 30th
September of the same year.
JUNIORS
Juniors
(those under 21
as of 1st
October) joining the Club are subject to the same ‘calendar rules’
as Adults. The Junior Joining Fee is $10;
Full Annual Junior Subscription is $40,
then $10
per quarter (i.e.
Joining in April-June will be $20 + $10 joining fee = $30).
MONIES
All
monies must be forwarded to the Treasurer with this application form.
The application will be reviewed and voted on at the next Committee
meeting.
Successful
applicants will be notified by mail and will receive an information
sheet containing some basic information about club competitions and
booking.
Notification
reminding members of Annual
Subscriptions Renewal is sent by email to all members in late
September with payment due on the 1st of October each year.
ANNUAL
TICKETS
(For Green Fees)
Every
July Melbourne City Council offers an annual ticket to the public.
This can only be purchased during the month of July and the cost in
2011
was $710 for adults and $475 for juniors for a 7 day ticket.

PLAYING
CONDITIONS
Royal
Park is a VGL
affiliated club based at a public golf course. As a member you will
have the benefit of holding a registered Australian Handicap which
will enable you to play in Club, VGL and VGA events throughout the
year at Royal Park and other golf courses and clubs in Australia and
overseas. You are also covered by Club insurance.
As
a member of Royal Park Golf Club Inc., you will have no
rights or privileges
on the Royal Park Golf Course, other than those afforded to any green
fee paying member of the public.
Booking
a round of golf at Royal Park Golf Club is entirely an arrangement
between the player and the Lessee of the golf course. Please
do not
therefore demand any privilege or favour from the Lessee as a member
of the Royal Park Golf Club Inc.
For
all Sunday Club Competitions the correct
tee markers must
be used by all players. Please read the whiteboard before teeing off
each Sunday.
Competition
days:
18-hole competition ~ Tee off times from 7.00am Sunday morning.
Tee times will vary according to the season and daylight savings
time.
9-hole
competition ~ This precedes the 18-hole competition (back 9 holes) on Sunday mornings.
(9 hole members are requested to arrive at 9.15am) Games are the same for 18-hole and 9-hole competitions.
MEMBERS
MUST ENSURE THEY BOOK A TEE OFF TIME WITH THE CLUB BY THE THURSDAY
PRIOR TO COMPETITIONS. MEMBERS WHO DO NOT BOOK IN CAN BE RULED
INELIGIBLE FOR THAT EVENT.
MEMBERS CAN INCLUDE THEIR NAMES ON THE BOOKING SHEET PROVIDED ON OUR CLUB NOTICEBOARD. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE UNABLE TO TAKE BOOKINGS VIA THIS WEBSITE OR BY EMAIL.
Club
Championships (October):
Members must
play in at least 10 competitive rounds to be eligible. The decision
for eligibility is at the discretion of the match committee.
The
Zurich Golfers Personal Insurance Plan
This covers:

Loss or damage to golf clubs and other sporting equipment (except
motorised carts or scooters) anywhere in Australia - up to $5,000
(excess and conditions apply).
